Not sure but I think that's a decent Sabre made before all the cheap ones they sell in stores now. http://berinsontackle.com/products-page/2-rods/penn-sabre-stroker-7-foot-12-to-30-pound-class-rod/ (http://berinsontackle.com/products-page/2-rods/penn-sabre-stroker-7-foot-12-to-30-pound-class-rod/)

Probably worth $35 if it's in real good shape.

Not an original Sabre. This a Sabre from after the name was bought by Penn. Not sure of the value, personally I wouldn't spend 35 but that is mostly cause I like to wrap my own. I wold look around for an Original Sabre and re-wrap it.

Thanks for the advice! The gear I have not "should" be alright for now. I am still new to the whole kayaking thing. I have way too many hobbies right now ... wife would freak out if I purchased anything expensive. Thanks again!!!
