My PFD has some good pockets, but doesn't really handle a VHF, phone, small shock proof camera . . .

Does anyone have a favorite bits of molle gear webbing or add-on rigs/holsters that keep the stuff secure but close in on your PFD?

I was going to starting poking around www.lapolicegear.com (http://www.lapolicegear.com) for something I might use but figure y'all have some insight.

Maxpedition Jumbo K.I.S.S. Versipack (http://www.amazon.com/UTG-Multi-functional-Tactical-Messenger-Bag/dp/B002TUSSY4) and a UTG knock off are bothin the ballpark, but overkill. They sling to one side so may not be too paddle-friendly.

Looking for lighter rigs. This style may do (http://www.lapolicegear.com/maadpo.html).

Thanks. Right on pad eyes. I just did a few for pliers, game clip etc.

In this case its more wanting to keep my radio and phone up on my upper bod and have 'em ready for use, but out of the way too. I put 'em in a dry bag a lot.

They should make a MOLLE life jacket

Right on Fishwhisperer.

Via google I'm seeing lots of molle PFDs but they are kind of heavy for rescue work or rather slick rigs for air crew - all pretty expensive and/or rather heavy for fishing.

Seems the term molle is the key word in finding rigs or pouches for adding on to an existing PFD investment.

Ironic there's so many "fishing vests" (almost sitcom-like full of pockets) with room for gadgets ... but few PFDs with all that much.

For now, it'll be my dry bag until I find some add-on that works. Looks like a tactical nylon add-on for a cop shop tactical vest may be the answer.
