Can we please all get on the same page as to where the appropriate place to post your meet up threads is. Reports page should be kept clear for reports only. Meet and greet invites is a general discussion topic.

William, can you x-post this over in the "Reports" section, just for the people that are mis-posting over there. :sifone:

I was tempted to move this to the reports section :D

I usually move anything that is not a report from that section.

A separate section for "Meeting up" isn't a bad idea either

I believe there's a section for that on BD, just to arrange meetings and group gatherings.

I like the idea of meet up on a separate section or ad a sticky to general discussion.

We actually met a lady at the launch Tuesday morning who has successfully returned 3 mirage drives she found at the shores diving. She found a lot of gear following the Derby and wanted to know the best way to contact the community. Told her about the site and that she should make an account for when items pop up. Super nice lady and actually the second person me and Josh met in the last week that has gone out of their way to return items back to kayakers.

She didn't say and I didn't ask. I told her to be brief and the rightful owners of everything will be able to describe whatever they lost.
