Anyone fish Royal Palms State Beach before? What are the launch conditions like?

The conditions are rocky, very rocky but I believe a kayak launch is possible.

I've surf fished there before but have seen kayaks out there. It is rocky rocky rocky though. The parking is right on the beach if you go to the left after coming down the hill. There is a lot of kelp out there close to the shoreline and when the tide is low you can actually walk out to one of the big rocks out there and cast right into the kelp. IF you do go out and come in on the low tide you will be leaving with a lot more scratches than you probably came with. Just my 2 cents.

Is this area a good launch ( red circle )? Based on maps looks more protected but can't tell elevation.

That's a great place to launch but like it was said previously.....be prepared to scratch your kayak:(
