We will be releasing about 4000 WSB on Saturday morning and afternoon at King Harbor in Redondo Beach. As the following exerpt says, we could use some volunteers to help net and transfer the fish to the truck and then manage the hose when we release them into the harbor.

"8/2 we will release fish. We will net fish to Hubbs truck and deliver them to F dock about half way to Yacht club. And sluice them into King Harbor. Will take 5 to 6 hours and will start at 10AM. We will need several people to help, you don't have to be a volunteer, family, neighbors, friends can help us send our teenage fish off on there next journey. We will be getting fish soon after, 8/11 was mentioned but don't have firm date or time. Takes less people to help receiving fish . "
It's a fun time and it could help with that WSB Karma. The grow out tanks are in the SeaLab aquarium property across Harbor Blvd from the power plant.
Parking is free...just tell the parking attendant that you are there to help with the WSB release.
So easy...even these guys could do it!
