Another MLPA situation. Every CA based tackle company would have to move out of state (one way or another - sales) and the price will go up 20-50 %. Warbaits is a small California business, I mean small compared to the rest of businesses, Death by GOV and animal rights and anti-gun extremists.

We are talking about rights here, to live Free. I can't even fish South LJ Kelp ? WTF

Stay aware of the situation

Nothing is safe from over regulation in this state.

I have no problem preventing un-natural stuff entering the ocean - but I'm willing to bet the amount of lead going into the ocean is far less than the stuff that goes down the drains from small businesses, green yard chemicals & fertilizers, leaky engine oil on the streets - to name just a few.

Here's another kick in the balls. I got calls from consulting engineers to price a generator for the construction of another BP oil rig in long beach, just yesterday! So let me get this right, off shore companies can drill in our local ocean, but we can't use locally made lead for fishing? It's all about money and control. One step closer to the NWO's carbon tax!

I'm all for using something other than lead if it does the same thing, but not interested in paying 5 fold for it. I already cringe losing lead as it is, that stuff adds up quick when you start getting heavier than even 2 ounces.

I say lets go back to using old spark plugs like in the olden days. Then see what the environmentalists say.
