So what's your best tips? I have rod floats and leashes ready to add to all rods and everything else. Now to the local stuff. What's the skinny on the fishing here? Kelp beds? Mission bay? Off shore? Inshore?

Reading, searching and asking questions are great but nothing compares to time on the water.

In the bays, keep you bait on or as close to the bottom as possible. Cant go wrong for bass and butts that way.
