Hey what's up guys! My name is Ray and I just started kayak fishing this summer and have had some good luck in the LJ kelp beds catchin calicos, sand bass, rock fish but I wanna move up to the big leagues! I've heard of kayakers catchin yellowtail off of la jolla but have no idea how to approach this challenge. If anyone could give me some tips that would be great or if I could even go out with some of y'all fishin I know what I'm doin so I won't be in your way.

Also this is my first year lobstering off of my kayak and lookin for a partner to go out a couple times a week. Thanks guys! Look forward to learning from the best!

Sincerely,

Ray G.

Welcome Ray,
Fairly new to offshore kayaking myself, haven't yet made it down to LJ but have gotten a few Hali out of Oside and a lot of sand bass and calicos at reef 1 and 2.
