Hidey ho guys and gals! Here's a few videos from trips this season...
I tried three times this year to get a YFT from the yak... but to no avail. Had to do it the cheater way, aboard my old man's 40' blackfin. This is just one of many "limit style" yellowfin trips we had this season. These were a little smaller grade, but still hard fighting fish. A great session for the ladies(:

Also found a super salty captain to explore up and down the coast looking for the secret bites. We didnt find any secrets, but we did find a nice quality of fish a bit further from home...

Although I did get quite a few "donkeys" from the yak this year, like this 33lb early season brusier :yt:

Wow what a year... Thanks for watching!
hahahahahahahahahaha there's very few who can truly appreciate the
Fabio-esque captain sitting back throwing a couple tins down smokin a few grits...while the rest of the boat does all the work.
chris gonna be honest I didn't watch the other two but the "skiff vid" shot on the SS Doryteuthis 2, made my month!!!! hahahahaha yup I proudly call that guy my bro.
All hail King Scallywag

Hahaha rk you are spot on. I am not sure I even recognized that salty captain at first. I will say I miss those days on the water when we all use to peddle.

I spent 35 years buying gasoline and diesel to get to the 302, 425, the 9, and damn near everywhere else.
But I've got to say, for on the water pleasure and pure, quality fishing time, my PA far exceeds any any other boating and fishing experience I've had.
I don't begrudge guys with a power boat (I've owned three) but there sure are lot of guys who have sold their boats and bought a yack.

Ya it was an awesome day. We actually didn't even get one! I got picked up once and never hooked up. Dogs just destroyed my bait. One of those days where people without fish are in the minority...
Looked like your arms were getting tired?(;

Rad skiff vid!!! looks like those girls can run a deck!
I think i always see that arima in lj, last time i saw them hook and land a double poaching the seaforths chumline haha
Seems like the livingstons and arimas are getting popular down here, rad boats
Thats just a little payback. Usually its the seaforth that is lurking on the Livys and arima hahaha
