So I've been looking for some replacement wheels for my Wheelez cart. I have the over sized sand wheels which work great and I also have some Tuff Tire wheels but they suck! Well, they don't suck completely, they work great when I'm not using them. The problem with the Tuff Tire wheels is that they don't have bearing so its literally plastic rubbing on metal, add 200lbs of weight and you'll end up with a hernia each time you have to pull the PA up a ramp or walk it for more than 10feet. I really like the size of the tires because they fit perfect in the front hatch of my PA, this keeps me from having to walk back to my truck and makes the wheels readily available when I get off the water.
Anyway, I've checked Harbor Freight and Home Depot but haven't been able to find anything that will fit. Does anyone have the Wheelez cart with wheels that have bearing? The OD of the axle is 3/4".

You try greasing the plastic bushing surface?
Some others around the net http://www.globalindustrial.com/p/material-handling/casters/wheels/8-x-2-mold-on-rubber-wheel-600-lb-capacity-3-4-axle-size

They'll probably rust over time though.

I tried the grease thing but it wears out pretty quick. Thanks for the links!!!

Yeah, no bearing wheels Suck. Even with grease, which doesn't last and dirtys up the inside on your yak hatch area when you need to remove one or more of the wheel to clear the hatch, a full loaded kayak weighs a lot. They only work well without all your other gear on a empty kayak. Those reasons are why I love being able to drive onto the sand at La Jolla. Good luck in your seach George.
