Jimmy, we are doing Tidelands again. It is big enough to handle out group, has lots of parking, pretty good fishing and is ptotected for new paddlers.

We will have 40 spaces available for this event, and Ellen from the VA told me she had more persons than that interested, so WE will need more MENTORS for our Veterans. This event will start for us before 6 am to get everything set up. We now have about a dozen volunteers but we will need more to serve our EXPECTED 40 Disabled Veterans. Thank you all for opening your hearts and supporting these Disabled Veterans through this Holiday Season. And a special THANK YOU to OEX Mission Bay and OEX Sunset Beach for everything you do for HOW AND our BWE Community. :you_rock: :you_rock: Happy Holidays

Hi all,
I'm a disabled vet hoping to make this if my new license makes it in the mail on time.
I'm a bit confused as near the beginning of this thread it says the event
will be at Tidelands and then near the end it says Mission bay.
Not fair to mess with old folks. Been married for over 30 years so I am
pre confused.

My bad, event is at OEX Mission Bay and you will not need a license for that day as we get a group license for these events. I just put you on the list so hope to meet you there.

Thank you Bob,

But I'm an old time Kayak fisherman. We have met before.
We saw each other last at the HOW event at Mission Bay last year.

Sorry for the late notice but I will be unable to attend this event but was wondering if anyone from South OC (San Clemente to Irvine) is going and is willing to pick up something from makobob for me. I'll come get it from you at time convenient to you.

Let me know if this works for someone.

Just as a second thought. Iceman, I believe you are attending. If you want to pick it up and take it to your shop I want to have you help me with the install anyway.

Bob, I'll PayPal you.
