I have had a lot of luck on spoties anywhere using gulp shrimp on a jighead. They are easy to use but I have a somewhat bad hookup rate. I kind of think its because the lures are so rigid but it may be the Jughead's. I am thinking of trying the gulp mantis shrimp or hollow shrimp since they seem more limp and likely have more action. Has anyone else tried those lures and liked thenlm better than the normal shrimp?

5" jerk bait in Pink Shine or Nuclear Chicken rig on a Owner Sled head is what I use for spot ties, sandies, calicos

For shrimp I usually use 4 inch nuke chicken or pearl. I rig em with a football head big so the hook goes in line with body and creates a lot of good action
