Will be going either monday or wednesday, depending on surf conditions. Will be trying to target yellowtail from box canyon. Then halibut or wsb near kelp by end of day. Let me know if you want to go.

I didn't see you this morning.
I was there before the sunrise.
Very good day with 20 spots, 3 ginormous macs and 2 crazy Bonita crashing bait on the surface. Fished right in front of the 10th Ave terminal only 20' feet away. Harbor police came by and waved hello.

I launched at 8 and circled the boats twice with emphasis on the outer shelf, por nada. I donated one of my choice swimbaits too. Glad to hear you had a solid morning. I left around 1115, went home, then hit the usual spot. Minimal find bait out there. Threw an iron and struck out there as well, but a gorgeous day none the less! Trying again tomorrow.

hi,
very,very new to kayak fishing. fish mission bay, then went off shore week and a half ago out of mission bay. cruised the pier, then headed off shore. did some whale watching, grabbed a benito, and a mac. headed back to mission bay to stroll around for some halibut.
anyway, want to learn to fish out of la jolla, any one willing to take a new-b on for a trip or two, pm me. i have an old outback, peddle drive, and a couple rods. and a life vest, lol..
