SF Bay

I'm going up to San Francisco for a conference at the end of February. Of course I'm driving up with my kayak and gear, however, a buddy with whom I'm staying with up there would also like to get out with me. So, the questions are...

1) Does anyone know of an "OEX type" place up in the Bay area that rents a kayaks???

2) Does anyone have any experience fishing the SF Bay and have any tips to pass along?
