adhesive for inside Malibu?

anyone know of an adhesive that will stick to the inside hull of a malibu? I am looking to put down some kind of non skid to keep the battery box stable, maybe a foam box of some sort...

I have never tried it but thought about it for my Malibu.......
What do you think of using some of that rubber mesh that is used in kitchen cabinets? I was thinking it would keep whatever was on top of it from sliding around.
Like I said.... Never tried it.

Don't know if this would work or not. I use plumbers putty for my transducer. You might try and use it. I would put a 1/4 inch thick on the bottom, press the battery box into it and then build up the sides to keep it in place. Never tried it for something that size but it sticks to the bottom of my yak and doesn't come loose. The best part is, if it doesn't work or you want to relocate the box, it will peel right off. About 2 to 3 bucks at home depot.

Ruff the area up with some sand paper. Industrial strength velco should hold it in place. You can even goop the sticky side to add some extra adhesion.

If you want to use permanent adhesive use this stuff. I have used it successfully, don't screw up because it's PERMANENT!!!

That's what I use in my center hatch. Keeps all my plano boxes from sliding around. Battery box might be too heavy. But if it doesn't roll over it should stay put.

I have a small piece of pool noodle cut in half glued to the bottom of the battery box. It keeps if from slamming around and making any noise, but its not a fixed installation.

Right now I use one of those foam covered twisty type wires and loop it around the handle of the battery case and the scupper pipe. Works.

I keep my battery box from moving with some velcro strips about 2 inches wide. I sanded the inside area (to get a smoother area and some texture for the adhesive) and then I used 3M black weather strip adhesive on both the battery box side and the inside of the kayak. The velcro stays and I only have to lay it down and apply slight pressure. To remove the battery box I just gently pull it up.

For what you are tying to do, Goop will work just fine. Rough up the area pretty good with some coarse grit sandpaper so the adhesive has something to bite, and goop away.
