That moment when you are 4 miles offshore and feel like your yak is floating/handling a little funny... you open your hatch to learn that your kayak is now a cruise ship with a swimming pool below decks! Thank you Sven for helping figure it out.
Long story short. My 2011 Outback I bought used. Had a small leak that I could not find. It was in the backend of the drive well. Maybe 1 1/2 inches long, below the water line.
Hobie was contacted, within a day I got my answer, it is covered. It is repairable but I was worried seeing it keeps going to Baja. Hobie will replace with a NEW 2014 hull for $500.00 which I think is a great deal. But waiting to see what it would cost for the 2015. They are really into their customer Service.
