The set for the Pro Anglers sells for $227, they are designed to be used on the Trailex Trailers that utilize track bolts. I drilled holes through the load bars and bought 4 2 " bolts. washers and nuts for an easy install.

Geeze the tongue on that trailer looks way too short for that boat, you need red flags and two lights on the back of that boat still.

True that!

Perspective, it is a crazy thing. All I did was take this photo from another angle, makes the tongue look plenty long. The letter of the law is that the load can not hang over the rear trailer axle more than 1/2 the distance measured from the rear axle of the vehicle to the rear axle of the trailer. I do plan to red flag it, but the trailer lights should be easily viewable.

Interesting fact about this kayak is in the construction. I have only seen one other kayak with the "foam" lining found inside the PA 17, that was the early year Malibu Kayaks Extreme, it is supposed to aid in retaining it's shape.

Had to try it out, took it up to Redondo with Ben for a quick rockfish session this morning. Slim pickings on the rockfish, but really fun roomy fishing platform.

Andy,
Where you able to launch from the small ramp in front of the lagoon? How did it perform?

yes, launched from the hand launch, I was impressed with how it moved along and felt really comfortable in it.
