Malibu rockfishing

So i've been told that within 2 hours of HB malibu probably has the best rockfish. Would you guys agree with this. I'm planning to go next week. Any pointers on where to launch and where to go?Ive seen couple reports of y tails out there. any intel on this? Thanks guys

I do have a decent fish finder.

Was a good area, BKR also good! Both are now
in the MLPA, good stones around if you have the
numbers! Rockpile straight out from pier was
good but if I remember it's pretty far out!

Still some good spots, but redondo and newport are a lot closer to HB than malibu.
