Hey All

I am looking to buy a reel and rod for my wife for fishing charters. I am looking at the Daiwa STTLW30H-C levelwind (http://www.amazon.com/DAIWA-Saltist-Levelwind-Casting-Reel/dp/B009AU68QG/ref=sr_1_1?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1425954941&sr=1-1&keywords=STTLW30H-C). I need some advice on which rod to pair it with. Price range for rod is between 100.00 - 200.00 bucks.

I second the terez, used are round around $130-150 and they come up for sale quite often. For about $180 the phenix black diamond is pretty sweet too.

I also say terez if you can find one used. If you plan on making it out to fred hall check out the turners booth for "Californian" rods. I have a few and they arent half bad! Especially for the price (~$60). They dont look like anything special but the blanks used are legit from my understanding.
