Fishing sucks, but not the Trident's hull.

For the first time I paddled with Coyne and Mcvey. Easy strokes. No falling behind. Thru a sloppy windy ocean. Normally they have to stop and wait for me, not this time.

I'm going to upgrade my paddle. My current one left me stranded today. I normally have a spare, but I gave it away.

I'm with Aguachico. I had my Trident in the ocean for the first time Saturday, crappy water, crappy fishing but a beautiful ride. Night and day from my last boat. Now if I could only catch a fish.

I'm going with this

I'm looking for acceleration and when I'm cruising more push. I feel my current blade flexing. I didn't like the bent shaft and I like my paddle feathered.

Art: Good choice with the Corryvrecken. I didn't
like it with my eXtreme, but I really like it with the Trident.

I went with the all carbon fiber model, so I don't
know how it compares with the fiberglass.

Cool Dave. I tried Coyne's in the Cortez. It even got the eXtreme on plane.:D

The price is a little steep. My stroke has changed a little now that I'm higher in the water.

If you have had shoulder issues you may want to consider the Kalista in a 240cm. Much easier on your shoulders after a long day.

The foam core blades make it a dream to paddle with.

Thanks Jim. My shoulder seems pretty good for now. My current paddle is a touring paddle. I'm gonne give the bigger blade a try, you'll know it didn't work out when you see it for sale.
