Was wondering if I could get some tips and advice on targeting Lingcod and Big Halibut in the La Jolla area. I just think they'd be fun to mix in with the Yellowtail fishing. Any specific direction to head cuz it seems like bottom fishing the kelp area would be hell. I've caught many halibut in the bays but wanna get one out in the open water and Lingcod is on my bucket list. Any tips are welcome...
