Big girl!!!!!

Been fishing the islands and around the base and came across this big girl
They are definatley out there. Scientist say they know were not food but they might not want us in their spot and may attack with warning. The problem is were not seeing the warnings since they are under water and we are on the surface. Interesting theory from top scientist. More to come. For all you south county guys dont worry this one is off of Vandenberg!!!

, like you said they are not interested in us for food, but this one is definitely saying she does not appreciate you being there. If you look at her stiff posture and slightly arched back and pectoral fins pointing straight down, this is classic territorial behavior for all sharks, they are looking big and intimidating. Sharks are more social than most people realize, so body language helps them avoid confrontation. This video shows that very well, she didn't want to attack you, she was just saying "leave my territory, look how big I am" unfortunately she is showing that behavior under the water, where you may not see it. Be careful out there!!
