so went out with yesterday morning with a few cool guys. made bait without to much trouble. paddled out about 8 miles if i remember right, looking for the tuna and dodo. made our way back to about 4 miles, had a hook up with an 8 ft hammer head that harassed us from about the 1500 Ft mark:reel:. somehow got away from him for a bit to land my first ever kayak fish. :eek:16 lb yellow! totally hooked on this stuff now. what a ride it was and he wasn't my only fish but seals took the rest. much thanks to Patrick and Kevin for letting me tag along to deep water and helping with the fish. :cheers1:

Gongrats on your first kayak fish. Can't think of a better Kayak fish first or last. Good to see you got your kayak deck bloodied. I think that first picture should be your avatar. Tight Lines, Mark

Congrats again on your first catch bud! Had a great time out there with ya, almost 23 miles of pedaling and hours dealing with a frisky hammerhead will def makes a yt taste that much better. Props on a great looking fish!
