Going out of Newport saterday and or sunday.going to troll around a mack on the outside of the harbor.who else is going?I'll be launching a green xfactor at about 0530.:reel:

I should be there tomorrow same time. If not then Sunday. Launching from the coast guard station. White outback

I've never launched from the coast guard station on a weekend. How quickly does the parking fill up? I have never had a problem during the week but I would guess the weekend it can become a problem

It's usually empty at 6 am I've never been there later. And on the weekends you can park on both sides.

Thanks fishingfriend I have always stayed away from that launch on the weekends just in case

Now I know I can launch there as long as it's early!

Even if you don't get there early there's always street parking that is literally right there. Just go unload at the gate then park.
