Paddle Collar Fix Suggestions Needed

Does anyone know of a Los Angeles area shop that might sell kayak paddle parts? Or any "fixin know how" knowledge or ideas? The collar that tightens the 2 sections together split so no solid tight fit can be made. It is a crack of dawn black diamond carbon fiber paddle. Bought from a friend, so no receipt. Not sure if warranty is honored w/o receipt. The attached pic shows the collar

Ghetto Fabulous Quick Fix: find a couple of lobster claw rubber bands.

epoxy and a couple zip ties to hold it tight until it dries. But I would definitely hit up the manufacturer. If not covered then maybe they will repair for a nominal cost. I would not want to take too much risk with my means of propulsion.

I wouldn't tell COD that you got it from someone else. Just tell them you lost the receipt.
