Mighty mount vs Scotty deck mount

Hey I'm debating whether to use a mighty mount for its flush look and versatility. My main concern is that it won't be sturdy with the Scotty attachment onto it.
Is the Scotty deck mount sturdier?

Sturdiness of the deck mount will depend on where it's placed and if you use a backing plate or not; more the former.

I plan on mounting on my prowler 13 in that section in front of the hatch. I was planning on using some plastic backing that I have.
