Rock climbing was fun and exhilarating, but it ain't got nothing on kayak fishing.
I know that YOU know that I have gone off the Deep End

LOL, you are one of the instigators...... now I am going to try to bring my wife over the edge with me ....
Good advice, it can be hard, especially when the tuna were running, close to burn out there
I hit things hard, that is what life is all about.
Hard to burn out on fun.

And the addiction begins! Careful, once you're hooked, it's hard to stop. Your weekends will never be the same again. Every store you go in, your mind will be on trying to find new 'things' for your kayak. Every place you go with your wife, you'll be thinking, "I bet I could launch my kayak from there". You have been warned......

Yak is my crack, though I've never done crack. Once I had that initial taste, I can't stop. Each time I walk into a tackle store, I have to buy a new Colt Sniper, or circle hooks, or more flouro...or find something to enjoy on my yak. Whenever I paddle out, I find a new experience and want to go farther and do more. I'm addicted. I love it and can't live without it.

I can vouch that you have gone off the deep end. Completely different from the guy I met years ago, who gaffed my first YT....
I don't think I'm anywhere near the deep end
I just started
But wifey disagrees
What does she know

Right on, I still want to be doing this at 80. One trip a month to Baja just might be doable for 13 more years. Use it or lose it.
