Anyone here transporting their PA14 on a passenger car?

I believe I have seen a you tube video of someone doing it on a sedan using the yakima sliding bar extension.

I transport a 12' sot with my Mazda 3 just fine. I don't know if I'd go much longer though.

You "could"... I was putting mine up on my Xterra. Man, what a PIA!

I ended up instead getting a $150 dollar trailer from HFT and building a custom PA trailer. Sooooooo worth it! It pulls so easy, you could pull it behind a Prius or a Harley!

I will post a pic of mine when I get back to home base.

I built this trailer from a used motor cycle trailer, the racks are removable, I built it heavier than I needed to so I could also haul a riding mower or four wheeler but it tows real easy.17658

If you plan on fishing La Jolla, parking a trailer can be an issue.....especially during the summer months. Just a heads up.

I have an Impreza, strong back and will. I saw some good vids with racks that make it easier, but I already have these damn expensive aero blades. I think I am going to get a Thule goal post and that will solve all my problems for loading and have to run bow/stern lines.

I don't want another trailer. I already have a tent trailer and a project Skip Jack 24' fliybridge in my backyard (which I am going to throw the towel in on).

Good call on the goal post. Also, I take a trailer to LJ fairly frequently and the biggest problem is picking up your boat with all the beach traffic.
