10 yr Old Son, Ryu's, 2015 Highlight Video- Alaska

So the weather has been a tad insane here. So rather than fishing I began to compile my own 2015 highlight video. But I quickly realized my ten, soon to be eleven year old son probably had the better video shots.

I had some decent accomplishments and a few good fish in 2015. I even made the state paper a few times... (http://www.adn.com/article/20150820/alaska-angler-reaches-goal-catching-king-salmon-every-month-year)

But who needs a personal highlight reel when I have this! I will probably put together my own at some point, but really THIS was my highlight for 2015, gaining a new kayak fishing partner!

Well, really two new fishing partners. A shout out to Nick, who I fished with this year from these forums for the first time and I hope it won't be the last time. He made my son's highlight reel and I can't thank him enough for coaching and watching my son while we were all fishing despite his days being limited here in Alaska...this trip.

Your son will never forget the fishing trips that you two have shared together. I had a similar experience with an uncle of mine. He took me fishing for coho, kings, and pinks when I was a kid.

I was blessed to have a Dad that towed me all over fishing from about 5-now (37). That impact will live long beyond you, and will show up in his life in so many other ways. I have fished with so many other because me Dad taught me. Blessings.
