Hey guys so I'm gonna be fishing Coronado area since I work right there on the base. I haven't seen anyone fish the silver strand side much. Has anyone attempted to do so? Any luck? I know people fish the bridge and bay but just curious about the ocean side. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Bay side or Ocean side of Silver Strand? Either side is great for Flatties and other types.
I don't advise trying to surf launch from Silver Strand but good luck if you try.

I just looked at the wave forcasts for Coronado beaches.
I have not launched there, but on the basis of this report, this coming Tuesday might be nice:

Good question. Now I'm interested.
Here's the report for Imperial Beach:

I have launched from there a few times..no problems but I am a white water kayaker and my design has me sitting low with a spray skirt...make sure to put up or strap down everything...
Pick your days....Good zone.
