Wait wait, maybe its if you give a moose a mackerel.

If you give a moose a mackerel, he will inhale it.

Flylined mac 85ft, 2pm yesterday. Really kicked my ass for a while on my torium 14 and 10-20lb graftech stick. I do love the lighter rods though. Keeps that big bend the whole time. This is my personal best yellowtail and will probably take me quite a while to beat. I thought id be joining the 40lb club with a seabass before a yellowtail.


Went 44lbs on the digital scale, going to measure tonight when home.

For reference the fish next to mine is 24-25lbs.

No problems all day. Tried to stay away from the boats for that reason.

That Yellow is a beast, Brandon. Maybe the good luck is due to wearing your face mask upside down. Thanks for posting, I am having to live vicariously through you guy's post for the next few week until I can get out there again. It's killing me because I have missed almost 2 month of fishing LJ.
