I first thought I was fishing Dana this week. Then I didn't think I'd make it out at all. Now with time constraints I'm fishing Newport. Getting to the parking lot at 6am. Launching shortly thereafter. Off the water by 10am or so. Anyone else going to be out there targeting spotties?

My brother and I will be out there as well.. Heading out for some rockfish. Launching out of kids

I'll probably give the docks by Kids beach a try. Say hi if you see me (urban camo Trident 13).

Amish Ed... have you had a lot of luck there in the past? I usually fish way across on the other side of where you are planning on fishing for spotties. I may come out and will say hi. If you have a vhf radio, LMK what channel... both of you guys!

Hit or miss, but I have had a couple pigs over there. Where are you planning to hit? Cdm side?

I do have a vhf, but rarely have it on. I'll try to remember to turn it on. How about channel 68.
