Stoked to use my first Avet reel mxl mc
Wanted to ask if I should rig initially for free line or dropper loop? I just want to take 1 rod besides my sabiki rod.

I'd flyline early. You can hook the Mac in the back right in front of the dorsal fin which will help the bait swim deeper while trolling.
