Playing it by ear
Might hit up a protected harbor like alamitos bay or huntington harbor.
Definitely wouldn't brave the open ocean, but a small tight harbor, yeah that might be do'able

Looking at the weather here in Scripps Ranch I would say hell ya.... but after reading the forecasts... I am going to have to be ascarred :afraid: and head to the garage for some much needed work at home. It just isn't worth the risk or hassle of being blown out to sea!:ahhhhh: I can only paddle so fast.:turtle: Maybe next week will be better for my woosy butt.

Yeah, bad call. I went to La Jolla on Saturday morning, expecting to see "victory at sea" and saw a lake instead;)

Those marine forecasts cover a large area and there can be some major variances.
