Hobie Drive Trolling Motor

I built a few of these for my friends and ended up with one extra. It's a brand new 20lb thrust motor with a battery meter display on the top unit. Weighs about 5lb and fits perfectly in a PA 14. Price - $180

Thats pretty good, since my Minn Kota 45 lb only does 3.9 on flat water.

You should easily get 5 on flat water with a Minn Kota 45lb. How's the condition of your battery?

35 ah battery on low should be about 5 hours on high you will get about 1.5 to 2 hours

Really? In a PA? Even my torqueedo evolve which I believe is about 40lb only get about 5.5mph. Interesting
