I know you guys are bringing home some extra squid.
Instead of freezing it all for future bait, try my new recipe:

This video teaches you how to clean and prepare squid for
this dish, that also includes a homemade tomato sauce.
Just grab your favorite bottle of chilled dry white wine
and go to town. You won't believe how good squid really tastes!!

What works better for squid in La Jolla? Jigging a normal sabiki, or these squid jigs?
From somewhere, I picked up strings of these small squid jigs clipped together. Maybe a yard sale. I've never tried them.

I absolutely plugged my tank one night (80 pieces??) and got a bunch another night. I love pan frying them. I'll have a look at your recipe.
I made a small crowder for my PA and I started making big wads of candy.

Oh jesus
LOL. Sorry. I was just thinking out loud.
Sometimes my brain works like aggregate flowing down the chute of a cement truck.
Maybe someone else wants to know about squid too. Not everyone is already a pro around here.
:p
Maybe squid and grunion will converge on July 4-7

Mr NiceGuy,
Squid spawns are no secret. Especially to those who fish weekly.
No need to be a pro, and if anyone wants to know, tell them to
go fishing!! See you on the water.

Below is the squid jig you're looking for Mr Nice Guy (can't remember your name only met you once).
The one you posted is for the larger models.......Humbolt
I am actually blown away they are still here. One night I had a 72 degree surface temp and I had like a 500lbs. ball float up on me. Crazy.......

That looks tasty Yani! Only very few people know how much time and work it takes to make just one cooking video.
A ton of time is spent on hooking up fish and editing video. you spend a lot time behind the scene,
not to mention the drive to Corona and back 4 hours and more.
Thank you for all your hard work and bring good eats to everyone!!! you Crazy GREEK. OPA!!!!
