Beer is OK for a non-motorized vehicle.

That was the downfall of the legendary X-Wing Kayak, add a motor - remove the beer.

Can you get a paddling under the influence (PUI)?

I know they can get you on a bicycle for DUI...

Everything in moderation. And Please be sure to wear your PFD. Remember you may have to get into a vehicle to drive home aferward.:elefant:

If you exceed the legal limit it's called drunk in public. so don't have to many, just incase the DFG are pairing up with the CHP and make sure you wear your PFD cause it doesn't take a PHD to know if your going to drink be safe.:cheers1: :D

My wife asked a ranger the same question at a local lake a couple weeks ago.
We both gave her the stink eye and he answered her with...." It's practically a requirement"....
