El Capitan 8/1

Fished El Capitan on Monday for some decent action. Lots of breaking fish all over from Dock to Dam. Caught 8 and missed 8, or the 8 missed the lure as I was watching it the whole time, on the topwater. It was tough fishing but still fun to watch them eat.

I've always wanted to check out that area. What type of fish did you catch?

Nice. How was the crowd? I've only fished there once, and it seemed pretty crowded.

Largemouth Bass. Monday they only allow fishing. No jet ski's or power boats pulling anything. Bass boat guys were pretty cool
