My daughter just bought one for me. Everything fine accept the seat is too low. Scupper plugs did not help.

Scupper Pro Owners please help. What are you using?.
I am 5.6 135lb.

Thanks

Why don't the scupper hole plugs work? I have used them in my scupper pro in the past with good results. Occasionally during the trip, I use a big orange sponge from the Home Depot to bail out the seat area. It does keep the seat area dry. I'm 6'2" 165#.
For me being on the water so much, a wet seat is no big deal. I always wear a spring suit except in the height of the summer and just don't seem to notice the wet. It is a water sport after all.

Live with it, the Scupper Pro is a wet boat, a great boat but a wet one.
It was designed with a very low seat so that you had stability in a narrow kayak.
Just enjoy the great paddling of this kayak and get used to the wet butt.

I have a low profile yak and I am always wet..... I just baught waders. the ones that go up to your chest. I got them at Bass Pro for about $50. Best investment ever, especially in the winter.
