It's that time of year again...Lobster Season starts on October 1st.
Promar will be doing FREE Hoop Net Seminars at the following list of local tackle stores and vendors....
I'll have some Promar bags to give away with Fish Taco/Sportfishing magazines, stickers, CCA mags...some hats and beanies... a hoop net and some hooping accessories as well as Live Deception jigs.
I even have a Promar crawdad trap to give away tomorrow night at Lobster Port.
Come by and learn about hoop netting and get some CCA info and join the CCA CAL...!
CCA CAL members will be there to sign up new members and to sell tickets to the upcoming San Diego Craft Beer and Food-Fest Oct.1st. or the OC Crawdad Boil in November.

Awesome! Was anticipating these seminars, I finally decided to take a serious stab at lobster hoop netting this year and need as much info/advice as I can! See you there tomorrow!

It's about 1 hour...with the CCA intro it's a little longer.
I'll cover everything from gear and rigging to catching and cooking...

Cool pic! :doh::doh:

Seminars are very worthwhile. Will shorten the learning curve significantly.

I was making last minute preparations on our trip to Silver Lake today...bummed I missed it. It was right down the street from my house. :(

Geno...you missed a good one...we had about 70 folks at the seminar...Geoff and Johnny and the LP staff provided a great venue...they had a keg of Ballast Point beer and the nachos were devoured quickly. The raffle was huge...I gave away a new 36' Ambush XL net and a 36" classic net as well as a bunch of stuff from LP and Grant from Grundens was there with his line of weather proof gear and there was some lady angler gear given away too.
Lots of happy faces last night...that new Lobster Port store is very well equipped and his rope prices are really good for 1200' spools.
Geno...I'll call you later today with some dope on the crawdads at Silver Lake...speaking of crawdads...we even gave away a crawdad trap last night!
Newport Beach West Marine tonight at 6pm then Bass Pro Shops on Saturday for noon and 3pm seminars...see you there!

Hi Harry
No need to sign up or contact BP...just show up and be the lucky guy to win a new hoopnet or some other Promar/AHI swag.

Awesome seminar. Learned quite a bit and walked away with a hoop net. Guess I have to go out this season.
