Yes I am aware of that but I have heard some say that pro anglers are an exception.

try calling the lake. I'm sure they'll tell you the same thing as the response above. I've read a couple posts in the past asking the same thing. The only non-motorized vessels allowed are canoes and sit-in kayaks.

Funny, they are afraid of body contact when the boats are spilling oil & fuel, and people are peeing into the lake.

What about the access hole for the mirage drive?

I am sure if they catch you peeing in the lake, there will be a fine.

I'm sure peeing in the lake isn't permitted and oil & fuel can be filtered or cleaned up, unlike human viruses and other biohazards you wouldn't want to drink. I'd take a glass of water with a little oil over a glass with a little anal leakage and herpes any day.:eek:

they don't boil the water to treat it, they filter it and chlorinate it, filtration removes the oil, chlorine kills the germs.

DVL requires only modern engines on boats to lower the risk of fuel and oil leakage. The no human contact rule is ridiculous because the water has body contact all the way along the line until it hits the lake. It is MWD's requirement because they don't want anyone to be able to use the lake but they have to because the tax payers have paid for the water and the lake. If they had their way though it would be like Lake Mathews where only VIP's can use the lake.

I have a Wilderness Systems Commander that I use at Skinner all the time. Its a very nice kayak.
