Paddling a PA with a SUP paddle

Just curious if anyone has tried it. I've been planning on upgrading my stock hobie paddle to something nicer/longer. I'm a avid paddle boarder and have several high end SUP paddles that i never thought about trying out on my PA. Can't imagine it would work as well as a standard kayak paddle but just curious

I know I wouldnt want to do it. The only time id ever use a half paddle is maybe in the surf zone for steering.
