So I have some sick days from work I'd like to burn and use it on a Friday in June. How are the crowds Friday mornings and also the traffic coming down from Temecula area (im in Chino). I'll depart my house at 4am, any guidance much appreciated!

If you leave early enough, like arrival @ Vallecitos/the launch right around 0500, you won't hit any major traffic coming down the 15 no matter the day; only minor commuter traffic that early and it flows. The only thing that will slow you down will be an Accident, LJ Parkway is a ghost town then.. I live in Riverside and this is in regards to shooting down the 15 to SD for a work commute or a beach day... In re. to a friday getting back, we all know it's hell on earth when Friday comes around, and the 15 bottlenecks right there where the freeway drops back down into Temecula anytime around/before noon till way after rush hour..most days of the week.. Working off Murrieta Hot Springs if I went to the Promenade in Temecula for lunch it was an Easy Half Hour Drive back to the office just about 4 or 5 miles because the Fwy and side streets are so congested. If you are worried about time I would say plan for m-th to avoid that Friday getaway...

Depends on fishing. A lot of fridays there's less than 5 boats/kayaks. Now that it's summer you should expect a low of 10 boats/ kayaks but if the fishing is decent or going off your looking at 20-40 boats/kayaks.
