The Mini is doing good, i like it a lot , considering its my first kayak im really happy, hit huntington last week got some bass that was about it, i really want to go do some halibut fishing but i dont know where to go, this week coming up is my spring break so ill probably go out at least 3 times during the week, if you guys have any recomendations on halibut spots let me know.

Good place for halibut would be Cabrillo. Just look up Cabrillo pier/aquarium and follow directions. Fish the harbor with live bait you get from the receiver. Slow troll along the edge of the breakwall, kelp area, or the eel grass near the boat launch.

That should produce something for you.
