What does the transducer look like for that unit?

Black and Red, long and narrow....kinda like a sliced in half (lengthwide) giant tylenol.
‘Bout twice as long as a standard one, wire connects to the rear which i think is kinda weird, but its never caught in anything.

The transducer can be mounted with the cable coming out the front or the back. It will work the same. I think the bigger mistake is that the cable comes out of the side of the transducer rather than the top. I ruined one on my skiff by pivoting it around on the beach and the cable caught on some gravel. At the end of the day I wan't real happy with it's performance anyway.
