Gentleman:
First and foremost, thank you to all of those who have donated to keep camp open and operational. We all know how special this place is to fish, eat, meet great people and lodge. Bob has sacrificed a lot for us financially so we can enjoy Baja. We are still short of our goal of $2500, to pay for the lease ($1650), and have funds to fix/repair stuff as things break or get damaged.
Please consider contributing something is you haven't already. Anything is welcome.

If you don't have PayPal and want to contribute, please send me a PM and we can figure something out.
Thank you again!

Just thinking out loud here.
How does it work? Let's say I want to come down for a weekend. Who do I talk to? I still expect to pitch in when I show up but I wouldn't mind helping out now too.
What's the address?

January 1st 2019, I am taking ownership of Mako-Ville so you would just contact me to schedule your trip.

Come on guys! If everyone who has gone down to makoville threw in, we'd have this place covered for a while and everyone would continue to have access to all it has to offer.

Perhaps as of January 1, 2019 there should be a new name:
Sivak-ville.

MAKO-VILLE FOREVER. In honor of the man who started it, had the foresight, to develop it, and the heart to open it up to anyone that wanted to use it. His dedication and hard work should live on. MAKO-VILLE FOREVER.

I got back last night from Lake Powell and talked to Dave about an hour ago. This year in
August I paid our lease through next August. Dave asked for $2500 to cover August 2019-
August 2020 lease and maintenance until then. I want to thank you all for stepping up and
taking a swing. As of this evening there is $1295.00 in the mako-ville account, so we are
1/2 way there. This cost will be there every year so all moneys you put in on your trips will
also be added into the fund. Knowing the doors will stay open for YOU really makes my Baja
dreams come to frutation.
Thank you guys this support really melts my heart. Keeping the doors to mako-ville open
after I pass has been a big worry for me. Now I can relax knowing Dave will keep the doors
open for OUR COMMUNITY. To each one who took the time, THANK YOU for your donation,
some of you have never been to Baja yet. I hope that we can change that.
The Lord stepped into my life and blessed me with lots of caring friends. As of today I am
walking after 8 months. Yes I still need the wheelchair. But now more time is being spent
with the walker. Next week in Baja I will start using a cane as well. MAYBE by the October
on the Fly trip starting on the 13th of October I hope to be walking without aids. My Forever
"leg and foot" should be in my possession before the 1st of October.
Again THANK YOU for all your support over the last year. Tight Lines and happy times in Baja.

No report Steve, just bass, stripers, and cat fish. Lots of fun, sun and temps in the high 80's nights were very nice.
Did manage to take a few small steps today without the walker. Balance it tough. Sea you soon amigo.
