Awesome Kayaking Book

Just finished reading an amazing story about Ed Gillet's epic paddle from CA to Maui. Old timers may remember his shop on Mission Bay. I remember hearing about this crazy trip way back before I started kayak fishing in the late 80's. Though very little in the book is about fishing, if you are a hard-core paddler it is a must read. "The Pacific Alone" by Dave Shively. Enjoy.

I did alot of Baja paddling trips with Ed back in the 80's - even better hearing the stories first hand! I still have my touring Kayaks I bought from him hanging in the garage.
