Every time I see you fishing the lakes on these forums and on Facebook I get so jealous. Didn’t have any luck last year on fresh water. Awesome video.

It can be a fun lake and it can e brutally slow. The lake has come up a ton since last summer. It is a completely different lake now.

It was a puddle last time we drove by...
Never fished it.Would like to do a camp/fish trip with the gf.

Its far from a puddle now, plenty of shoreline and water is almost all the way up to the camping sites now. If we get one more storm it should hit 100% capacity.

Do you launch at the dock and pay a fee,or can you launch anywhere?
We always get a 15 minute pass when were passing by,and recon camp sites.It gets hot there and most spots have no shade.

If your going mid summer it does have its warm days that is for sure.



Really the only place to launch is the docks, like most lakes the kayaks have to be inspected. Cachuma will also powerwash the bottom of the kayaks before they allow them in the water. Takes less than 5 minutes but some stupid county rule.
