Bass Lake early August

I know we have a few folks on here who like the Sierras.

Had a blast last year in the June loop thanks to the posts here.
My wife just booked Forks Campground at Bass lake.

Anybody ever fish there much?
From what I can read it looks like the perfect time to target Kokanee Salmon.
