will Scotty Rail Mount Adapter 242 work on h rail?

it says it works on round or square rails wonder if anybody used it on an h rail?

I think you may need a little longer bolt to make it work as the H Rail is roughly 1 1/4 inch diameter and the Scotty says it is for 7/8-1inch tubing (standard boat rail sizes).
